Our Vision and Values

Our Vision and Values

“In His Footsteps, we love, learn and shine together.”

Love: let us love one another as God intended

Learn: Jesus grew in wisdom and stature

Shine Together: within our Christian Community

St. Helen’s C. E. Primary School to provides a safe, happy and nurturing environment which puts the needs of our children at the heart of our school. We make learning engaging, inside and outside of the classroom, by providing a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which inspires all children to foster a love of learning and be the very best that they can be. Our school provides all children and adults with a sense of belonging within our school community, so that everyone has pride in what we are achieving.

From this strong foundation we nurture each child by developing resilience, confidence and self-belief through our shared Christian Values of:

• Love

• Hope

• Thankfulness

• Courage

• Forgiveness

• Truthfulness

Whilst we believe that every child should achieve their full potential in the image of God, we are committed to ensuring we develop the whole child, linked to the Church of England’s vision July 2016 of “life in all its fullness”.

CEO Welcome

Learn, Love and Achieve, Together with Jesus

I am delighted to welcome you to the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust.

The Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust is proud to be the Diocesan MAT in the Diocese of Liverpool, established to keep the family of schools together and to provide life-enhancing relationships with the Christian faith and Jesus Christ.

As the Diocesan MAT, we have a very clear purpose, and our vision is uncompromising. We aim to provide an innovative, high-quality education, so that all children and learners, regardless of background, ethnicity or need, make excellent progress, and fulfil their academic potential.

We do this through being a family of schools. We support and connect with each other, share practice, and provide an excellent education that is built on distinctly Christian values, so that all children, learners and staff across our Trust, flourish. Central to this are our core values of collaboration, difference, local and inclusion, and our commitment to ensuring that all learners thrive through an education that teaches wisdom, instils hope, nurtures community, and embeds dignity and respect.

We are committed to supporting all schools across the Diocese, and outside the Diocese, including community schools, and as we grow and develop further, we are very much looking forward to welcoming new schools into our Trust. If you would like to have an informal conversation, please do contact me and I would be delighted to share who we are and what joining our family of schools would mean for you.
